Artist Statement

I approach my work as a cosmic anthropologist.  I strive to honor ancient traditions and worship while propelling the imagery into a science fiction fantasy world. I investigate the Universal human experience in relationship with unseen worlds, mysticism, the  subconscious and intelligence of nature.

Unusual landscapes, otherworldy creatures, imaginative flora, mystical geometry and spirited elements are bespeckled in each piece. Fantastical scenes interpret a wild yet universal journey of birth, life, enlightenment, consciousness, amusement and even death comprise of the musings in my work.

My works are both figurative and non-figurative subject matter. Some panels have central characters in a space and others have fantastical nature scenes with smaller objects or points of interest.  I am deeply inspired by my study of consciousness.  What does it mean to be awakened and explore our infinite aspects of Self.

My art is a depiction of my research in creating dreamy, mystical worlds and wild, lush surreal scenes. It is about the relationship between past and future, cycles of life, heightened consciousness, the universal experience of life and the truth embedded in our perception

In my work, I take on the challenge of seeking the mystical enchantment of the universal
